Marriage Partners Statistics by Month

In my daily browsing activities I've found an interesting statistics: Choice of Marriage Partners and Month of Birth
It is a study conducted by Drs. P.P.A.M. Kop and Dr. B.A. Heuts: they went to the marriage registry office in Amsterdam and took a random sample of nearly 3500 marriages from the files. These files contained the birth dates of the partners and also noted when a marriage had ended in divorce.

Here are the "tendencies" found by Kop and Heuts:

The scientiest who made the statistics were not interested in astrology so they analyzed the data based on the month of the birth. I know it's not relevant statistics from astrological point of view (you may say that they took in consideration only the SUN placement) but I thought that is an interesting information.

Nicknamed the "Oracle of Omaha", Buffett has amassed an enormous fortune from astute investments, particularly through his company Berkshire Hathaway, in which he holds a greater than 38% stake. With an estimated current net worth of around $42 billion, he is ranked by Forbes as the second-richest person in the world, behind only Microsoft chairman Bill Gates."

Very impresive indeed!
Reaching this level of development is a remarcable achivement and this is the reason why I'm trying to make a short analysis about WB.
As a source of information I've used Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Buffet .

The ideea of this analysis is to propose a birth hour and to validate it. I've analyzed the
possibles birthcharts raised on different hours and my proposal is around 12:15am. This
means that WB was born just after midnight.

General chart analysis
WB was nicknamed the "Oracle of Omaha" because of his intuition in predicting market evolution.The main responsible for this intuition is the Sun conj. Neptun in 4th house and also Midheaven in Pisces. The Pisces offer him the ability to extract information from the deeper levels of the unconscient. This way he can connect to subtile forms of energies or different
layers of energies.
Chiron in 12th house (on cusp) - his ideeas are coming from the subconscient but are sustained by his analitycal abilities (Sun in Virgo and AS in Gemeni). Correlated with Venus in 5th house (creativity) I can say that the main ability of WB is to be able to listen his intuition , extract the main ideeas , enriches them and also find a practical and sustainable implementation.

Also Mars in 1st house shows us a lot of energy and a very active person (his first deal was at the age of 13). Mars also rules the 11th house: WB is a project oriented person and he is always working to implement his ideas. Sun square Moon give him the advantage of not being satisfied with the current results and to always search for new and improved results.

Business Partnership and dealing with other people money's
Importance of relationships: DS in Sagitarius (expansion, the legal agreements) and his guvernor in 1st house. The 7th house guv. in 1st house in a person chart show us that the relationships are very important for that person and he can succed only by working with or through others.Saturn in 7th house and in Capricorn : wisdom in chosing partners and also support from elder or more influencing persons. Also Saturn rules 8th house: the other people money's which clear indicates the fact that W.B. it will use others resources in different partnerships (8th house guv. in 7th house) which will allow him to personal growth (7th house guv. in 1st house).

Home living

"Despite his immense wealth, Buffett is famous for his unpretentious and frugal lifestyle. He continues to live in the same suburban house in Omaha he bought in 1957 for $31,500" - 4th house cusp (IC) in Virgo : the lack of luxury in his private life.

Studies

"Buffett applied for admission to Harvard Business School and was turned down." It is a clear example of Lilith in 9th house (bad luck, accidents) correlated with guv. of 9th house, Uranus, in square with Jupiter (higher studies).

3 children : Venus in his sign Libra in 5th house and Mercury on the cusp.

Relationship
1952: (22 years old)Warren Buffett and Susan Thompson got married in April.
1977: (47 years old)Susie leaves Warren, although not officially divorcing him. Warren is crushed.

Venus in Libra in 5th house excellent for love and feelings but in square with Pluto show us
that this love it will transform him, it will make a huge impact in his life. We don't know
for sure how big was the change but I think that it was very radical one.They never divorced....Saturn in 7th house.

Google chart - an astrological analysis

The astrological explanation of Google success...personal point of view

We all now about Google and their history. I've got the curiosity to look up at their chart and to try to identify the source(s) of their success.
I've find on their milestone page ( Google milestone - now it was removed) the exact date when Larry and Sergey opened the doors to Google:
September 7, 1998 in Menlo Park. Regarding the hour I think that using 11:00am we are closer enough to the exact date ...I assumed that they didn't wait until afternoon in order to launch their business. The chart raised for that time and place is the following:

So, we a have a Virgo (sun placement) Google company with a not so sure Scorpio Ascendant. If you think what is the main business of Google we can say that the Sun placed in Virgo is very appropriate: searching, analyzing, sorting, ordering...there all Virgo attributes. Also placement of Sun into 11th house , on cusp, show us that Google is project based company with a lot of initiatives. The Sun-Chiron sextile outline the originality and sometimes 'hybrid' ideas of the Google products and services.

Search engines...this is the main business of the Google. Searching engines from astrology point of view might be represented mainly by Mercury (information searching and ordering, curiosity , small detailes), 3rd house (similar with Mercury) and Uranus as internet and IT ruler. If we look into the Google chart you will observe some interesting things:
- Mercury : conjunct North Node and Venus and trine from Saturn. You can say that Google is excellent in searching and extracting raw information (Mercury), ordering/organizing it (Saturn) and put it in a user friendly and 'lovely' form (Venus). And is doing this in order to comply with its his means or purpose in life (NorthNode).
- 3rd house: with cusp in Capricorn (showing us the determination and seriousity in searching the WWW for specific information) is populated by Neptune (Uranus it might be placed in 4th house). The Neptune in 3rd might simply outline the output of this company (Neptun is the symbol of the ouptut or the results of our efforts): good quality seach results or attentions to detailes/ small pieces of informations.
- Uranus: the position of this planet is interesting , opposition with Mars and square with Chiron forming an T-Square. This configuration is very powerfull and it can be the motivation of creating new products and services. This energy released by T-square make Google very daring and always accepting new challanges. And in the same time is a source of new excellent ideas, projects and finally products and services. The originality (Chiron) is always pushed to the limits by the company desire to action (Mars) and by the inventivity of his own peoples (Uranus).
Until now we outlined why Google is doing what is doing and why is so original and inventive. But now let's try to find out why Google is so succesfully.

For Google the word popularity is not an unsual term. There is not internet user to not hear or use Google. Also Google is surprising by it's simplicity in use.
If we look into the G. chart we will observe another interesting thing: the positions of Moon and Jupiter. The first thing to observe is that both planets are placed in 5th house and are excellent aspected.

The Moon in a company chart outline the popularity, the employees and the products. Moon in 5th house and in Aries show us that Google employees are very creative and they are energetically (Aries) expressing it. It also show us that the Google products and services are 'loved' by their customers.

Jupiter on the other hand in 5th house emphasize all the creativity activities of the company and allows a better planning of resources. Being retrograde might seems not very good for the company. But it's not true. Jupiter retrograde helps Google not becoming too adventurous in starting new things and on making plans..it always making Google managers to make a step back and re-analyze and re-think previous planning. It allows them to have a different persepective on the same action plan, product or project.

The popularity of Google comes from the Moon excellent aspected and also from the position of Mars on Midheaven plus triple conjunction Venus-Mercury-NorthNode in 10th house. Mars in 10th house shows us that Google is a very active player on the market and it always searching new ways to expand and increase their reputation. Mars trine Moon is an excellent aspect which allows Google to have a strong support from their customers for each of their actions and initiative.

I will end here this analysis...just a small issue to remind: Why Google stocks failed this weeks? Just look at the present transits: Saturn in transit square natal Saturn. The first lesson for Google to learn...more to come. In a future post I will discuss about astrological financial aspects of Google.

Jupiter retrograde in 2006

Yesterday ,3rd of March 2006, Jupiter started to move retrograde and it will keep this direction until 5th of July 2006.

Jupiter in Scorpio already boosted all the underground activities and all hidden things started to come to the surface. Also all the religious fanatism activites found a 'solid' ground for manifestation. You can look at our world today and we can observe that a lot of dirty things are coming to the light. Also at the personal level is a period of hard times especially those persons with Jupiter transiting natal planets - people with planets in Scorpio/Taurus for example.

The exact start date of the retro movement was 3.03.2006 5:42am GMT on the 18:52 degree in Scorpio. Until 6.03.2006 4:30am GMT it will remain on the 18:52 degree , meaning that Jupiter will be stationary during this period. The stationary periods are important and very powerfull from energy point of view and during this moments all activities related to Jupiter should be postponed: travelling abroad or on long distances, all things related to the laws, partners, associates and religious beliefs.

The sabian symbol of the 18:52 scorpio degree (19 degree scorpio) is : A wise old parrot has been listening attentively to the conversation and preening himself; now he begins to speak.

If you analyze this sabian symbol of Jupiter retro it might be possible that some rumours and negative opinions might spread all over the world and many people it will become confused. There is the danger the this rumours can become valid truth for some of the peoples and may cause some serious problems. Also at the personal level there might be some problems with hidden 'friends' which will spread some not very good thoughts about you.

Jupiter it will return to his direct motion on 5th of July 2006 at 6:46pm GMT and it will be positioned at 8:59 Scorpio.

This sabian symbol may suggest that after 5th of July we might be able to find solutions to problems appeared during this retrograde period. We might be able to solve some of the issues that before looked hard to solve.

Jupiter retrogred period, at personal level, is an excelent time for self-reflection and interiorization. Our expanding energies are contracting and we will have time and the mood for analyzing all our internal beliefes (religious or not). We just have to calm down and to connect to the surrouding energies and to our innner-self. We will receive many subtile messages that will guide us in life.

As an advice ...during this period it should be better to avoid starting any new activities that involves laws and justice , travelling abroad , partnerships. Also avoid doing thing that are at the legal limit...the risk of being discovered is increased.

Surviving the Sun-Moon square aspect

Sun square Moon ... a stressing astrological aspect but with an extraordinary evolving potential.

The square aspect (or quadrature) between two planets shows us the existence of a strong internal conflict between the energies of the involved elements.
Any square to the Sun in a person chart is a very damaging aspect because the person primary of source of energy is blocked or is not in resonance with the other planet energy. His self-expression is blocked and the person is finding hard to express his potential.

The Sun-Moon square is even more stressing than any other square because of the direct connection between those two elements. If the Sun is our inner self, the conscient , the primary resource of energy the Moon represents the subconscient, our emotions.

A square between this two elements show us the presence of a blockaje between our conscient side, our will and our emotions or subconscient. The person with this aspect tends to be permanent unhappy and nothing that is doing bring her peace and happiness. He(she) is trapped in a situation that seems without exit point: when he is decided to do something in a conscient manner knowing that this action is the best possible way there is still a inner voice that is saying "No!No! Don't do it". The vice-versa is also aplicable: if the person is feeling something from the emotional point of view, the mental or the conscient of that person is denying it.

This situation may lead to distructive reactions and actions...the person may project his internal dillema to the outside world. He or she will start to think that this internal problem may be caused by external factors like friends, children, husband or wife. And this might be the start of the end....

You may feel happy and secured that in your chart you don't have this Moon-Sun square :)
But I got news for you...You may experience this aspect for the duration of a year .... in your Solar Return....if you have Sun-Moon square in a SR chart you will have to deal with this internal conflict.
I'm talking from experience. In my last Solar Return I had this aspect ...and it was no funny. Especially if you are not aware for of it from the first time. I lived with this aspect fro over 6 months until I've discovered the source of my stress.

Now back to your title...Surviving Sun-Moon square

The solution consist in becoming conscient about your self and about this inner conflict. First thing to do is to accept it and becoming aware that this is an internal not external conflict. Any unhappiness or stress is inside you...not in your outside world. Don't blame the others for something that is depending entirely on you.

Secondly....focus. Set your targets, your priorities, make your decisions and do not waste any more time on this process. Any done action it cannot be done. Assume the responsability of your actions and do not thinks again in terms of "Is it good or not? I've took the right decision? What if...?". I know it's hard but is the only way.

And finally you should start using the positive side of this aspect. The main ideea is to use this internal anger and lack of satisfaction on improving your situation (both spiritual and material). The secret is to focus it on the productive area of your life and to apply an extreme control. Set targets before starting something and do not change them until you accomplish your goals. Doing link this you will be able to use a very powerful energy that exists in you and you will be able to do great things.

I hope that I could help with this written words mostly because I know what is all about. And I now how hard is it to deal with such emotions and feelings.

Grand Cross Mars-Jupiter-Saturn-Neptun

These days we are living under the influence of a powerfull astrological configuration : the Grand Cross formed by Mars - Jupiter - Saturn and Neptun.

The Grand Cross consists of four or more planets spread at intervals of approximately 90° and two oppositions is formed in the chart. This configuration is a very stressing one because the energies of those 4 planets involved are forming hard aspects (quadratures and oppositions). The energy released by this configuration is very intense one and it may lead to all kinds of powerfull and changing events.

The current Grand Cross is already activated and the results are known to everyone.I'm reffering to the Hemel Hempstead oil depot explosion near London.

I've searched in the past (using Configuration Hunter Software ) to see if this Grand Cross occured before. And for my suprise in September 1926 the same Grand Cross was active for several days (from 12.09.1926 to 25.09.1926).

The 1926 Grand Cross took place in the same fixes signs as it follows: Mars in Taurus, Jupiter in Aquarius, Saturn in Scorpio and Neptun in Leo.
The 2005 Gradn Cross contains the following structure: Mars in Taurus, Jupiter in Scorpio, Saturn in Leo and Neptun in Aquarius.

If in 2005 the event in discussion is the oil depot explosion near London in 1926 we have the Great Miami Hurricane .

This means that in 2005 we had fire events and in 1926 we had water events. On both cases the air was a very important element.

Now let's take a look at the astrological implications:
- Saturn in 2005 it was in Leo (fire sign) and in 1926 it was in Scorpio (water sign)
- Jupiter as an amplifier it was in Scorpion in 2005 (sign of accidents, explosions) and in 1926 it was in Aquarius (sign of winds)
- Mars in the same sign (earth sign) could indicate that the effects of these events are impacting large areas of dry land.

No question that the Grand Crosses are very strong and powerfull and very often the energy is released in a violent way.

I looked for in the future and until 2100 I couldn't find these configuration forming again.

Hemel Hempstead - oil depot explosion chart (astrological point of view)

As we all find out by now on December 11th 2005 at 6:03am a huge explosion took place at the Hemel Hempstead fuel depot, near London. There were no registered deaths but only forty-three people have been injured.

The Buncefield depot is a major distribution terminal operated by Total and part-owned by Texaco, storing oil and petrol as well as kerosene which supplies airports across the region, including Heathrow and Luton.

In this post I will try to outline some of the most important aspects and to post the charts of the events.
Below you can find the chart for the of the first explosion:

The explosion took place just 2 days after Mars was start moving directly.

The most important aspect of the chart is represented by the Grand Cross Jupiter-Saturn- Mars-Neptun. This configuration is a very powerful ones and correlated with the Mars retrograde period caused a lot of accidents since his forming.

At the moment of explosion Jupiter was conjunct with 12th house cusp, Mars with 6th house cusp and Saturn with 9th house cusp. This series of conjunctions amplified the power of the Grand Cross.

Sun conjunct with Pluto in 1st house : the energy of the sun amplifies the distructive energy of the Pluto (both in a Fire sign). Also the Pluto is the ruling the Ascendant (in Scorpio).

In my search on internet I've found some information related with Hemel Hempstead city.
According with Docurum Council official site :

"Like the other new towns in the post-war programme to rehouse one million Londoners recovering from the worst effects of the 1939-45 war, the rapid expansion of Hemel Hempstead began with the New Towns Act passed in 1946.
This led to the setting up of the Hemel Hempstead Development Corporation, formally inaugurated under the Chairmanship of Lord Reith (of BCC fame) on 6 March 1947. "

- Saturn transiting Pluto (natal)
- Pluto in transit is forming a opposition wirth natal Uranus
- Uranus is conjunct wirth natal Mars and Sun (at the midpoint of them) and in quadrature with North Node

"I’m Capricorn, you’re Leo, my mother is Taurus and the neighbor is Aquarius."

Does this sound familiar? I believe so.
Nowadays, most of us know our zodiacal sign and the interest we have for this subject is continuously growing. But how many of us actually know what a horoscope and a chart are?

The answer: few! This is why so many questions and interpretations get born, a thing that ultimately leads to the defamation of astrology. You don’t need to be an astrologer to know some things about astrology, some elements that will help you.

This article was made for the specific purpose of explaining briefly and without details, what a horoscope is and what are the main components of a chart.

First of all, what does it mean that I’m Capricorn and you’re Leo? The basic zodiacal sign we keep talking about is given by the Sun’s position at birth. Therefore, I’m Capricorn because the Sun was in Capricorn when I was given birth. You can identify this when you make a chart. The chart represents the astral map of an entity (individual, community etc.) at a certain time. It contains a lot of elements that help at making a horoscope or an astrologic analysis.

For making a horoscope or an astrologic analysis you need three elements:
- The zodiacal sign
- The planets
- The astrological houses

At all this you can add a lot of other elements that bring more information.

The planets

There are 10 planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) and they represent a certain characteristic of an individual, a certain type of energy.
For example, the Sun represents our basic personality, our ego, the conscious, while the Moon represents our subconscious and emotions. So when I say I’m Capricorn, I actually say that my basic personality has all of Capricorn’s characteristics. But the fact that I have the Moon in Pisces, for example, makes my emotions similar to the zodiacal sign of Pisces.
The same way, Mercury represents the mentality, the way we think and communicate; Venus represents the feeling and the things we like, while Mars represents our basic energy.

The planets form between themselves many angles and relations. These relations can be: harmonically (those of 60,120,0 degrees) and un-harmonically (45,90,180 degrees).

The zodiacal signs

There are 12 zodiacal signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces) and I’m sure you know them very well. They represent certain characteristics that have a strong influence on the planets. A Moon in Aries will be totally different then a Moon in Libra.

The astrological houses

The 12 astrological houses symbolize the activity sectors in every person’s life. These are being calculated according to the hour and the place of birth. These can have different sizes (in degrees).
For example, the 7th house symbolizes the partner, marriage, contractual relationships etc. The 10th is the house of carrier and social elevation.

About the houses, there is an aspect that was a mandatory role: the first grade of a house is called cusps (or cuspis). There are 4 big cusps: the Ascendant (1st house), the Middle of the sky (10th house), the Descendant (7th house) and the Bottom of the sky (4th house).
The one most known is the Ascendant, which according to the zodiacal sign it’s in, it symbolizes the qualities one must gain during this lifetime.

To make an astrological analyze, one must count all this factors plus a lot of others a thing that depends on each astrologer in part.

The idea of this article was to show you that each individual is unique in its own way and not all from the same zodiacal sign are the same. Also the prediction on TV or on the newspapers even thought they might be correct, don’t apply to all during that period of time.

Polarities of the zodiacal signs

Within this article we will talk about the planets polarities. We will especially analyze the information these provide us regarding the way our personality behaves on the exterior.

When we talk about polarities, we don’t mean good and bad, masculine and feminine or positive and negative, we mean Yin and Yang.

Grown from the Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang express the dualist nature of the universe. They have numerous meanings, but we will only talk about those who apply to us astrologically:

Yang – the action, the active and aware part
Yin – the passive, unaware, receptive part

Each zodiacal sign represents one of the two polarities: either Yin, either Yang. In the table below you can find the list of all zodiacal signs and the polarity each represents:

Leo: Yang
Virgo: Yin

If a planet is in a Yang zodiacal sign, it becomes more active and it expresses itself more energetically. At the opposite pole, a planet in a Yin zodiacal sign acts more secluded and becomes more passive.

Our personality and the way we behave in the human society are reflected in astrology mostly by two elements: the Sun and the Ascendant. At these we can add the Moon as a symbol of emotions, instincts and the way we express our feelings. We will now analyze these three elements through the looking glass of the zodiacal signs polarities.

The Sun represents our basic personality, the fundamental energy, our self. The position the Sun can take in a sign indicates the fundamental characters with which we came to this life, our character. It also shows the aware part.

The Ascendant reflects our exterior personality, the way we behave towards others and how we express the qualities the Sun gave us. The zodiacal sign in which is our Ascendant shows the characteristics we will grow during our lifetime, regardless if we will be aware of that or not. At birth the Sun has the maximum influence. As we grow old, our personality gains new characteristics and new dimensions because of the experiences we’ve been through and our evolution. This new dimensions are represented by the Ascendant as a shell of the basic energy and it indicates the way we express that energy.

The Moon marks by its position in the zodiacal signs our emotions and feelings and the way we express these emotions and feelings. It shows the instinctive, unaware part.

The combinations between these three elements, polarity (Yin/Yang) speaking, show a certain characteristic of the way we express in the society and of our possible inner conflicts. In the table below I tried to draw these characteristics without pretending I showed all the possible combinations. Please remember that these meanings might be a little different because of the other elements of the natal chart.

Sun(Yang) - Moon(Yang) - Ascendant (Yang)
This person is very active, has a very dashing personality and a very strong emotional structure. Communication is very good and very active. Very clear expression of the emotions and feelings. Good equilibrium between the inner and outer world.

Sun(Yang) - Moon(Yang) - Ascendant (Yin)
The basic personality manifests itself easily in the outer world. Emotions are difficultly express. Often the awareness (will, intellect) imposes over the unawareness (instincts, emotions).

Sun(Yang) - Moon(Yin) - Ascendant (Yang)
The interior personality and the emotions cannot be easily expressed. There can be conflict between the way we think and feel and the way we express our self. Possible impossibility of expression and communication.

Sun(Yang) - Moon(Yin) - Ascendant (Yin)
Strong and active personality but who cannot always find an outer correspondent. We cannot always express what we want to.

Sun(Yin) - Moon(Yin) - Ascendant (Yin)
This person is very receptive to everything that happens. Very good communication between the personality and the emotional structure. They usually act passively to everything that happens, and never make the first step.

Sun(Yin) - Moon(Yin) - Ascendant (Yang)
Emotions and instincts are very strong and active which comes as a contradiction with the basic energy and the way we want and can express

Conflict between the inner structure (what we want, our feelings, our emotions) and the way we communicate in the outer world. The outer world has a powerful influence on the personality and the feelings.

Emotions are strongly and clearly expressed which sometimes drives to an inner conflict with the basic personality and the way the person usually behaves.

Usually when the Sun’s polarity differs from the Ascendant’s polarity, the individual suffers a radical change of personality and expression. Mostly, this change comes around the age of 30. If the Sun is Yin and the Ascendant is Yang the individual will change from a passive, meditative person to a more active one, dashing and determined. If it’s the other way around, the Sun is Yang and the Ascendant is Yin, this person will slow down to be more secluded and reflexive.

Moon/Mars midpoint

A midpoint in astrology is an energetic point on the birth chart located at half of the distance between two planets or other chart elements.

From astrological point of view a midpoint is the place where the energies of two involved planets are merging and combining in equal proportion. It has no importance how strong and weak are the planets ... at their halfway distance their energies are manifesting equally. As a result of this blending a new type of energy is formed which will contain characteristics from both sources.

Now you can imagine that are a lot of midpoints and it is a very difficult job for an astrologer to look at all of them. It is important to look at the midpoints which are conjunct with a planet, Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, Nadir or any other chart element.

The most famous midpoint is the Sun/Moon midpoint. This point provides additional information regarding our relationships and desire for companionship.

But for the moment I will discuss about Moon/Mars midpoint.
We can define this midpoint as the place where our emotionally level (Moon) is meeting with our energy and our will or desire (Mars).
This is very important point when we are analyzing the health status of a person. The Moon/Mars express the person inner strength and resistance (emotionally and physically) and it can show us the capacity of overcome any obstacle. It is also a general health indicator.
